It's a brand new day!

Totally Random STUFF

OK, so this post is going to be totally random. For some strange reason I am in a really good mood right now. Don't have a clue as to why!

Today at work has been totally awesome for some stange reason!

First, today is 'Staff Appreciation Day' where they have games, contests and raffles outside. The department my mom works for bought everyone lunch for this nice little restaurant down the road and they invited me. The food was awesome and we all had a great time. We sat around in lawn chairs and chit chatted through lunch. It was really relaxing- that and we ended up getting lunch from 11:30 - 1:30. NICE!

Then, I was going to take my final for my online fitness class (sounds crazy, but its for real!), anyway- when I went to do it- the link was missing. I am all ready to take this thing, and it isn't working correctly. So I e-mailed my teacher and she e-mailed me back to tell me they were having technical difficulties. She wanted to know if it was OK with me that she counted my mid-term grade twice and I didn't have to take the final. Sure, I made a 100 on the mid-term. That class is done! Wooo hooo!

I found out on Friday that my job is going to go thru some changes this summer, but not bad ones. Since as many of you know, I am the office manager for 4 interdisciplinary programs at a college, they are moving 3 of the programs I supervise to another building on campus and creating a new position, then they are going to give me 2 more programs which will bring my total supervised programs down to 3. Did I mention that my job was already boring becasuse there isn't enough work? Well- its getting ready to get even more boring. I'm not worried about it though. They are moving the programs because the people that direct them are all located in the same building and they want the office staff to be there too. My supervisor won't let me go for the world, but if the pay is higher- I'm going!

Anyone ever heard of Kellie Pickler? Yeah- well I live in Albemarle, NC. Lucky me! That place is a zoo right now. They are having a huge welcome home parade for her this Saturday at 11 am, but I am soooo not looking forward to it. Why you ask? Because- I live on the parade route. Yes, it runs right past the front of my apartment. It's horrible I tell you! Any thoughts of sleeping in past 10 am on Saturday morning are shot because the streets will be lined with happy people by 9:30, then if I want to leave my house, I'm screwed. There is no way out unless I leave before 9. I live in the middle of the parade route. The parade goes the entire block around my complex. Sucks! Looks like I will be enjoying a parade on Saturday.

Rebeka and Aaron (friends of mine) bought a Great Dane puppy named Rylee Blu from Missouri this week. It's being flown here on Thursday. She is the same age as Bocefus, they we're born exactly 1 day apart. How cool!

I have become a total tv junkie....wanna know why? I have shows I watch almost every night of the week. It's bad...

Sunday- Desperate Housewives (I turn it off before Grey's Anatomy comes on - can't get hooked)
Monday- 7th Heaven & Wife Swap (I have to flip back and forth)
Tuesday- American Idol & Gilmore Girls (I have to flip back and forth)
Wednesday- One Tree Hill & American Idol
Thursday- The OC

I don't have any shows for Friday or Saturday.....yet!

I'm working on my facvorite things for Thursday, this is gonna be soooooo good!

Thats enough for now. I'm heading out of here early to pick up my glasses at the eye doctor so I can see again. FINALLY! I've been doing without them for 2 weeks and it's killing me.
