It's a brand new day!

Lessons Learned

I just realized that July will be 6 months that I've been keeping this blog. Since I started this blog in January I have grown quite a bit. I have learned some valuable lessons, and after re-reading every post, I am quite proud of my self.

Five Lessons I have learned:

- The only things a woman should chase is a shot.

- The only person I can depend on to make me happy, is me.

- Like Julie Roberts says 'Men and Mascara Both Run'.

- Willpower is all you need to succeed.

- It's better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all.


Nothing is going on at work today, boring as usual. I'm a bit irriated with my boss, he scheduled a 1 o'clock appointment and didn't show up for it. He is actually on vacation until next Wednesday. I felt terrible when the student showed up for her appointment and I couldn't help her.

We've worked overtime everynight this week, and tonight is no exception. I was so burnt out this morning when I got up, I wanted to call in- but then I would loose my overtime from Monday and Tuesday. I will definitely be here all week, half asleep or not. I'm off Monday and Tuesday and I'm definitely going to catch up on my sleep.

I'm going to the Kelly Clarkson concert with Beth and 2 of her friends. She called at lunch and told me her friend has an extra ticket for $25 (lawn seats), I was so excited! It's the local radio stations 'Uncle Sam Jam' on 4th of July. It's going to be so much fun!

Well, I only have 2 more chapters to do in my online class, then an exam and I will be done for this week. Next week is the last week of this class, and I will have 4 chapters to do. I would love to get some of next weeks work done tomorrow and Friday so I don't have to bust my butt next week. My boss is coming back full time on July 5th and I'm sure he will keep me busy. Darn it!

Well, I'm off to get some school work done and count down until its time to go home....
