Irritations
Today has been a strange day to say the least. It seems like everything is in slow motion and this day is going to take forever to end. Of course we are working overtime tonight. Fiscal year is officially over on Friday the 30th, which also happens to be pay day. Excitement? Yes, I would say so!Today, or rather this morning I was walking to get my cereal at the cafeteria, and I noticed some things that irritate me and I simply must share with my readers.
- People who look like they just crawled out of bed
Yes, it is a rainy morning- but cut me a break! I can't believe the people that walk around in their pajama pants, drinking coffee, and carrying books. You call yourself a college student? Eek! I hope you at least brushed your teeth, cause that nappy hair your sporting is in serious need of a wash!
- People who don't match, at all
These are the people wearing black pants with a navy shirt and those hideous brown shoes. Yes, those people! They drive me crazy. Oh, and what about the people with their Nike running shoes on with their dress pants? Yeah, that's nice! NOT
- People who claim to be dieting and eat JUNK
Yesterday we went to lunch with one of my moms co-workers. This woman claims to be on a diet. While mom and I were sitting there drinking Dasani, eating Turkey and Cheese on Low-Fat Bread with Baked Cheetos, she ate 2 giant slices of supreme pizza. Some diet.....
- Grown people who whine to get their way
We carpool with a woman who is in her late to middle thirties. She is a whiner and its extremely annoying. There is this gourmet salad place that we went to lunch at one time, and she insists on going back because they have this introductory coupon that gives you $5 off your meal. Well, we have used the coupon once- and I believe it would be a bit much to use it every day. She always wants to go there- because she claims her and her husband are broke. (Lets not mention that she buys wine by the case, brings tons of food to every work event, and seems to go way overboard when it comes to giving gifts) But, she's broke and won't go to Showmar's which is a medium priced restaurant nearby that has great salads. She proceeds to start whining and talking baby talk because she wants us to go to the gourmet salad place.....Needless to say- we went to eat our salad without her.
Ok- I'm off my soapbox. I'm sure I have more- but my mind seems to be drawing a blank!
I'm off to do this school work that I've been putting off....

Remember what Weight Watchers tells us about "diets" - you can eat whatever you want with WW, as long as you plan for it! I'll admit, I'm on WW (and losing weight) but I do eat pizza and all that stuff. I wouldn't be able to survive my "diet" without it.

I was going to say what so gone said - but who knows - sometimes a person just needs a break - I'm not doing so well with the diet right now - but there are a lot of other things going on...
