Vacation's OVER & What I Want UPDATE

Boo! My vacation is over. It's official. I've had my 'mini' vacation, and it's over! I only have to work Wednesday and Thursday and I get a 3 day weekend- I have to work on Monday. SUCKS!

I have to mention before I go on that I would like everyone to pray for Michael's mothers family, Michael's uncle was killed in the mining accident in Kentucky over the weekend. Michael was not very close to them so it isn't hitting him hard, but it's a terrible tragedy that will take some time to get over.

Today was pretty uneventful. I got up at 7 and headed out in time to meet Pam at 8. We hung out all day because I had the baby. She is so fussy because she is cutting teeth. She wasn't to bad though. I only had her from 8:30 - 2:30. After her mommy came to get her, I went walking with my Grandmother. We've walked everyday since last week with the exception of Saturday. The weather here has been very nice. We walked a mile, then came home to chill in the air conditioning. I had to run to school to get my books for my online class this summer. We ate dinner as a family, and I headed home around 7:30.

This morning Pam had to take her car to where Michael works to get her tires rotated. It's the first time i've seen him in about a week. He got both his ears pierced, not something I ever imagined he would do. My dad says I should ask him if he sits when he pees. Ha ha! He was nice. I had to take Scott over to his house tonight to pick up has car because Michael drove it to work to inspect it today, he was nice to me when I was there. I bought him a t-shirt (pre-breakup) that is supposed to arrive tomorrow because it was on backorder, anyway- I asked him when he was going to get up with me to get his shirt, he told me he had school tonight and tomorrow (it's continuing education- not actual college) and maybe he would get up with me Thursday. I'm not calling him- it's not my job. He knows my number, he can call.

I actually didn't feel bad driving away or anything. Usually a million things go through my head when I have any interaction with him. This morning when Pam and I were at his work, I felt very self conscious. I don't know why- he has seen me naked. Ha ha. I guess because in a way, I feel like I don't know him anymore. I'm just glad it's getting easier for me. I know it will take time, but it's getting easier- and for that I am thankful!

I seriously need to update my 'What I Want' list, so here it goes:

1. Loose Weight
I'm seriously working on this one. I weighed today and I am down 5 lbs! Woo hoo! Every little bit helps. We are joining an actual Weight Watchers meeting Thursday. I created an Excel Spreadsheet to journal in since I am no good at writing things down. Journaling on the computer is much easier for me. If you want it e-mail me at aheller@ctc.net.

2. Finish My Associates Degree
I have to admit that I didn't do very well in my Math class last semester and I will have to retake it to get something better then a D so it will transfer to a university. Other then that minor setback, I am working very hard towards my degree and hope to have it finished next year.

3. Repaint my Hallway
I've made no progress. I am thinking of leaving it the way it is, it seems like the paint hasn't had time to dry and I am ready to do it agian. I think I might just leave it.

4. Finish my Bathroom
I still need to paint. I am so tired of painting......

5. Re-Arrange my Bedroom and leave it for more then 2 months
I have failed miserably at this one. I re-arranged it, but I moved it around again in a month....I suck! It's been the same way for a month now, lets see if I can last just 1 more month!

6. Let GO of my flaws
I'm learning. By exercising and loosing weight, I am trying to quit being so self conscious.

7. Get out of this 'relationship'
MISSION ACCOMPLISIHED! :-)

8. Pay of my debts
A work in progress.....

9. Organize my life and surroundings better
I've made great progress in this. When I started 'counting my points' for Weight Watchers, I started really taking control of my life.

10. Re-Evaluate my Choices
I don't think I will ever realisticly attain this goal, but I will always be sure that what I am doing is what I want to do....

That's all for now. I'm headed to bed....

I like your list - and it's ever changing as are you.

You are a good person - keep that in mind - become the next biggest loser for yourself.

~Fantastagirl - (who needs to get off her duff and get a movin' - i've gained the 5 pounds you lost... ugh - although last week I did have a loss.)
