It's a brand new day!

Early Friday....

Yes, it's 7:30 on Friday morning and I am already out of bed. UGH! Remember the friend with the issues who has the baby? Yeah- she called me crying at 7 am....no more sleeping for me. I had to play therapist for the last 30 minutes and no I am awake.

It's alright though. I have lot of things to get done around here today and not a whole lot of time. We're all going to Speed Street tonight in downtown Charlotte, then we're heading to the world premiere of the movie Cars over at Lowes Motor Speedway. I don't have much clean clothes, if any at all. My house is a mess since I haven't been here much and when I am I'm in such a hurry that I am flinging stuff and running around like a crazy woman. The dishes definatley have to be done this morning, and I have to wash at least a load of wash so I can wear something decent today.

I killed a spider running across the floor in my bedroom last night. I will be calling the landlord asking her about the pest control man coming. I hate spiders. I have only seen 3 since I've lived here, but I still don't like them.

Qualifying was fun last night. We we're in air conditioned seats, and it was nice! I don't like to sweat if I don't have to. Ha ha. We even lucked out with the parking. Mom and I went right after work and we only work about 5 minutes from the speedway. Since our seats were on the front stretch, we wanted to park out front. I drove because her car is a manual and she's not to good in traffic. I pulled in one parking lot and asked the guy where I could park, he let me park right up front in a lot marked 'Handicapped'. I didn't argue! We didn't have to walk far compared to the miles we have walked other years.

Well, I headed to get some of my chores done.
