It's a brand new day!

Lazy Friday, I love it!

Hey Y'all-

So, everyone knows I was worried sick about my court date this morning for my speeding ticket. Well, no worries- everything is gonna be ok! My ticket was for a 51 in a 35 and the DA dropped it to 44 in a 35....so $135 later and I am done. What a busy morning though! I had to be at the court house at 8:30 am. It seems like everyone else in this damn state got a ticket and had the same court date as me. The officer in the court room said they had well over 1,300 people expected today- thats crazy!

I was out of there by 10 am, thank goodness because I parked in 2 hour parking and I didn't need a parking ticket while I was there paying my speeding ticket, that would be terrible. I ran through a drive up and came home and did absolutely nothing. I was so tired. I ate my lunch, threw a load in the washer and slept until 2:30. I did all my Saturday morning banking this afternoon so I can sleep well past noon tomorrow. =)

I had a good night last night. I spoke to Michael.....not bad though- really. He said he thought we should see each other next week and he would try to make time. Whatever! It doesn't matter anymore. I am really enjoying the being single and unattached and I think it is starting to get to him. He is used to having me around and having someone to snuggle up to, and I have become so not there for him in that area. I am just tired of all of it. I think that after 5 years he sould be ready to "shit or get off the pot" as my Grandmother would say. I am just waiting for that right guy to come along and 'take me away', and I know in my heart that it will happen- but first I have to get rid of Michael for good. I am working on it- I promise!

I talked to Duncan this afternoon for the first time in a while. He's been acting really strange lately. He called me this morning, but I never heard the phone ring and I knew he was at work until 5, so I waited until after 5 to call him back. We talked for a little bit, but he seemed like he was pre-occupied. It sorta worries me because thats not like him, but I don't have time to be worried about everyone else!

Beth is coming here after work and we are going to go to the Super Wal-Mart and get some groceries and come back here and fix dinner. Pam and Corey might stop by later and we will probably end up playing some sort of card game. It will be fun, it always is when the 4 of us get together.

I have quite a bit of school work to get done. I have a mid-term due in my online history class by mid-night tonight. I should probably do it after I get done typing this post. I have a mid-term due in my online fitness class due by the 14th. I will probably do that next week at work. I took a test in my evening Math class last night- I am definatley going to have to study harder for that class. It was hard, only because I didn't really study. Next week should be better.

Well, I am off to get some stuff done and have some fun with my friends.
