Exciting Weekend!
Wow! I had an *awesome* weekend. I'm proud to say I got out of the house and enjoyed my self.
Friday night I was going to go work the ATV Drag Races with some friends from the local fire company. One of the girls that I was there with got a phone call from a friend inviting us to a local bar. Needless to say, 20 minutes later we got a ride and bailed. We had such a good time, I was the designated driver, but it was still fun! I didn't get home until 3 am on Saturday.
On Saturday night we partied at one of my brothers friends house, then headed over to the
friends house from Friday night. We had even more fun and I didn't get home until after 2 am.
Sunday was a lazy day of shopping and hanging around
Michael's house. He was working on a truck he has and Scott was helping. Scott's girlfriend and I sat around, chit chatted and watched. I made some yummy grilled chicken and
potatoes on the grill last night at my parents house. Yum! Sadly, it was the first time I grilled out this year!
I have class tonight, bummer. I'm looking forward to getting in bed by 10 to catch up on more of that missed sleep tonight.

A much needed update!
It seems like forever since I've posted something of substance in my blog. It looks like I'm due for an update!
As far as school goes, things aren't too hectic right now. I've got a grip on my Statistics class and as long as I keep attending tutoring I will pass. Of course, I'm going to keep attending tutoring. I contacted the registrars office at the college I attend on Friday and I found out that I have one course remaining before I can get my Associate in Arts degree! I'm so excited! I'm going to take my remaining class (Environmental Biology) online next semester! Speaking of Biology, my Biology 1 class that I've been complaining about is getting better. I made some friends in the class so time seems to go by much quicker. We have a test about once a week, but lately they've been verbatim from the book. In fact, we have a test tonight.
Work is the same as usual. I love my job, don't get me wrong. It's just slow and boring right now. I would rather have tons of work to make the time go by faster. I'm ready for a holiday so I can have some days off. To answer SoGoneOverYou (love the new alias by the way), I can transfer into the position as a lateral move- however I'm not guaranteed more money. They have an equation they use to determine your salary and years of experience come into play. I only have about 4 years experience and apparently the person they are hiring has quite a bit of experience. (I'm only 20 so imagine what they might have!)
The personal life? It's alright. I've been so busy with work and school that I haven't had much time to think about it. I haven't started my Christmas shopping, which greatly stresses me. I love Christmas, but I hate shopping for it. Just like Thanksgiving, I like getting together, but hate cooking. I'm almost ready for winter, I took my window units (Air Conditioning) out of the windows last weekend, this weekend I'm going to shirk wrap the window to try to keep the heat in. (It doesn't look tacky, you can barely tell there is anything there) I'm going to go buy an electric space heater this weekend too, I'm in need of a cheaper power bill this winter. The baseboard electric heat is way to expensive.
The love life? Lacking severely. I haven't talked to Michael in over a week. We're not fighting or anything, but the phone works both ways so I'm not fretting it. If he thinks he needs to talk to me, he can dial! I noticed this afternoon that Blake (a friend of his) deleted me from his MySpace friends list. Seriously, how old are we? Oh well!
Losing weight? Yes I am! I have another weigh in meeting tomorrow! Wish me luck!

A bit aggrivated....
Yes, I'm mad. The position I currently am in pays less then what it should. They've created another position in the company.....does the
same thing and it pays more. Why? No reason, they felt the postion was worthy of the money. Then why isn't mine? They always tell me what a wonderful job I'm doing, how they're so luck to have me, then they lower the morale like this? F Them! Whew! I feel better!
Lazy Saturday!
I woke up to the laziest possilbe day ever! I love it! It's not raining, but the grass is soaked because of the dew. Now I won't feel so bad for doing nothing all day! I've got a list a mile long to work with:
~ Wash, Fold, Put away
all laundry
~ Dust this nasty house
~ Sweep, Mop, Polish all floors
~ Scrub tub, toilet, sinks
~ Wash and put away dishes
~ Take old chairs in bedroom to basement for trash pick up
~ Organize shoe/coat closet
~ Take library books to my car
It doesn't look like a lot, but it sure is. I already took the air conditioning out of my bedroom window and cleaned it. I called my dad and he's going to come up this afternoon and put it downstairs. I've got all the windows open letting the air blow througg, it feels great. I took a shower and put my PJ's back on. :-)
Today is going to be a GREAT day!

Success!
Wow! Yesterday was a great day! First, I was off
all day! I slept until 9:30 am, then I ran all my errands and washed all my dirty laundry.
Wooo hoo! I'm so ahead of this weekend, it isn't even funny.
I had to take my Statistics mid term yesterday. I was in tutoring from 2:30-5:30. I finally sat down to take my test at 6 pm. It was a breeze! I was so excited when I left there, I almost broke out into a full on skip heading to my car! I got home and took the chapter 4 test for that class and I made an 89! I was so excited!
Of course, I
vegetated last night and watched some Gilmore Girls before heading to bed rather early.
I have a Biology test
tonight.
Boo! I'm not to worried about it, but I despise all this testing.
Tomorrow is 'Weigh Day', wish me luck!

Happy Monday!
I don't have a clue as to why I'm in such a good mood today, but I am! Normally I am a
huge grump on Mondays because I want to sleep more, and I have school Monday evenings. Today is different though, I guess I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning.
School isn't to much of a worry this week. I am off work tomorrow because I have to take a mid-term for my Statistics class (which I'm dreading). I've made my appointment for 6:00 tomorrow night, and I'm planning on studying my tail off tomorrow. I've got to make a good grade on this test. I've got a Biology test on Wednesday that I also have to study for. My teacher for my other 2 online classes just had a baby so we don't have anything due until the end of the month! Woo hoo!
I don't have to much of a busy week planned. Tomorrow is sleeping in, studying, cleaning house, then Math final. Of course, Gilmore Girls comes on tomorrow night so I have to watch that! :-) Other then that, I'm pretty free this week so there should be plenty of posting!
